Nursing and Midwifery Training College-Tepa, formally Health Assistant Training School, was initiated to operate as a Health Training School in October 2008 by Hon. Abraham Dwuma Odoom (Former Deputy Minister of Health), Nana Adusei Atwenewaah Ampem I (Tepa Omanhene) , Nana Agyemang Prempeh (Former District Chief Executive-Ahafo Ano North), and Nana Kwadwo Duah (Odikro of Anyinasuso). On January 30th 2009, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Nursing and Midwifery Council, the College admitted its first batch of eighty two (82) students into the then Health Assistant Clinical (HAC) Program.
MR. ALBERT OPOKU is the current principal of the college with the population of Thousand Two Hundred and Ninety –six (1,296) The College remains a fully accredited institution and it is proud of the positive impact it has had on the lives of the general populace. Results from licensure examination has been an exceptional.
